Roper out, Mc Fadden moves to corner [Donegal GAA, Ulster Championship, IRL]

Brian Roper has lost the battle to prove his fitness ahead of Donegal's clash with Armagh in the Ulster championship at Ballybofey on Sunday. The 31-year-old forward was the star of Donegal's successful League campaign, scoring 0-3 in the final against Mayo, and his loss is a major blow to manager Brian McIver's plans. The loss of Roper will be tempered by the news that Brendan Devenney has made an unexpected recovery from the stomach muscle injury that threatened to ruin his summer. Devenney will play at full forward with Michael Hegarty moving to centre forward in the absence of Roper.Colm McFadden moves to the corner to accommodate the return of Devenney.Neil McGee has been named at corner back despite picking up an injury in the league campaign, while Paddy McConagley takes his place at right half back ahead of Thomas Donoghue.
