Juniors ease to victory over Armagh
Donegal 4:14 Armagh Notre Dame 1:04
Canton, MA June 15th. Heavy morning rain meant the game was moved to field B, the smaller field did the Armagh team no favors as they struggled to contain a fired up Donegal side. New comers Peter Witherow and Eamon Murphy proved to hot to handle for their markers and tormented them for much of the game. Donegals defense held tight throughout, Darrel McNulty excelled in the centre back position ably assisted by John Deery and Ciaran Mc Gee on the wings. Murphy finished with a personal tally of 2:06 before being removed from the action with 20 minutes left on the clock. Donegal will be pleased with the win and the performance, but they know that this was a weak Armagh team. Cork should provide a sterner challenge in the next game on Sunday June 22nd.
